Ok, got an update uploading right now with a few fixes. There’s an update that has been released this morning, link: It would make those tricky shots a little more easier by having the high bounce to well and truly reflect off the structures on the ground. Love it.Īlso, I remembered one thing missing which I am sure was in the prior worms games, and that was being able to set the bounce of the grenade, whether it has a high or low bounce. I saw it in single player mode tonight when an AI worm managed to oblitterate two of my worms with one of those amazing shots that set off a series of chain reactions - exploding barrels, and mines falling just right to cause even more damage. I haven’t actually tried it yet.Īnd to answer my own question above - there is a replay feature. And hope that the changes take place, or that I’m not restricted to using only the default game styles. It is hard to know what each game means, and if there is something about the games I want to change, such as putting ninja ropes into fort mode, I have to go out of the lobby, make my own custom game style set up, recreate the lobby and go from there. My biggest gripe with multiplayer though is the lobby. Not that I am implying anything BJB to do with you, with the game reacting that way, well, it is a problem. Though just now playing against Krayzkrok, our avatars managed to switch over on my screen. I thought my connection was fairly bad, but I haven’t had a problem yet playing against fellow Qt3 folk. There’s no reason why the game should lock the screen anytime the connection lags, and there’s no excuse for these kinds of problems. Several times I clicked ready and showed as ready on my screen but the others told me I wasn’t. Several times I got into the lobby and it told me I was waiting on everyone else to join even though they were already there. One time I got into the lobby and everyone had my Steam avatar. Eventually after waiting 5+ minutes for the next turn to start we tried to start a new game. Anytime the game is waiting for data from the other players, your screen is frozen. ![]() The game would randomly freeze during turns, even freezing smoke animation and other inconsequential graphical fluff until the connection righted itself. Several minutes would pass between every turn. I don’t know who had the bad connection (probably me) but it doesn’t matter. I tried to play last night and eventually gave up. This game has the worst net code I have ever encountered.
